Propolis Press was established by Karen Randall in 2001 for the purpose of printing fine letterpress artists books with poetry by innovative, contemporary authors.
The philosophy of Propolis Press is that there should be no one-size-fits-all approach to poetic texts. Each text has its own unique DNA that should guide the morphogenesis of the book.
The publications of Propolis Press are in the collections of Brown, Columbia, Stanford and Yale Universities; the Universities of Buffalo, Chicago and Iowa; Connecticut, Dartmouth, Swarthmore, Smith, Trinity, Union, Wellesley and Wesleyan Colleges; and The Library of Congress.
